![]() ![]() The Library collaborated with the Learning Management and Classroom Experience (LMCE) group on a project to identify e-book titles to purchase using these funds. Vendors waived inflationary increases on existing subscriptions and the USMAI Library Consortium also reduced fees, resulting in a significant one-time cost savings for the USMAI Library. The COVID epidemic and its impacts in 20 had a dramatic effect on academic libraries and the vendor ecosystem that provides online information resources to them. These were older resources that did not contain much full text and were not getting significant use. Library staff has already implemented some of the recommendations from the survey and the audit report. The Performance Audit requested by the City's Financial Strategies task force found that the library is managed in a cost-effective manner, providing citizens with 4:1 return on each tax dollar invested in library operations.
